A NEW WAY TO JOIN
Always wanted to join the Soromundi family, but can't commit to a regular rehearsal schedule. We'd LOVE it if you would help out on one of our committees! There's lots of fun stuff to do like hanging concert posters, planning special events, and much more! Send us an e-mail if you're interested.

Soromundi is a self-supporting non-profit organization
A qualified 501-C-3

A dedicated Board of Directors, a strong sense of sorority, and longevity are all a result of the dynamic volunteer organization developed over Soromundi’s past 17 years. Soromundi is run solely by chorus members. With no paid professional business staff, chorus members perform all of the general and management tasks.

Choir members work on a volunteer basis to book concerts, stage performances, write grant proposals, record finances, file taxes, coordinate publicity, manage concerts, transport equipment, and more.

More bang for your buck!
If you make charitable contributions to Soromundi and give a matching amount to the Oregon Cultural Trust you can get a 100% tax credit for the amount you donate to the OCU. It won't cost you anything, but will help support an organization that helps support Oregon arts. Click here to go to to the Oregon Cultural Trust website.

The Equity Foundation
provided us with a grant to support our Building Bridges outreach project. The Equity Foundation works to inspire philanthropy and support nonprofit organizations throughout Oregon that further its mission to build communities that embrace the dignity and worth of all people.

The Lane Arts Council provided us with a grant to help us create "Circle Me Sisters," our year 15 CD project. They also gave us a grant to help with planning and capacity building.

United Way
United Way of Lane County provides us quarterly funding through their Workplace Giving program. Remember, you can designate Soromundi as a recipient!
